Q. Do you supply your own PA system/Speakers? 

Yes. I provide all my own PA system and speakers.

Q. What kind of equipment do you have?

If your ceremony or canapes location has no access to power, that's no problem.

Both portable PA systems have 6 hours of battery life each. 


The Pro has a 1000w amp and the Pro Mark 2 has 1500w amp, both with peak outputs of 118dB and 123dB respectively, which are capable of spreading sound around any event with up to 150-200 people.

Both PA's are easily relocated from your ceremony to canapes locations, minimising any breaks in music!


RECEPTION SET UP: 2 x QSC Powered (1000W) Portable PA Speakers

You won’t ever need to worry about long periods of silence as your guests transition from canapes to reception. Prior to setting up at your ceremony or canapes, I'll bump into your reception location to set up my powered PA system and lighting for your live dinner music and dance floor entertainment. There will be music playing as soon as your guests enter the reception!

Q. Can we use your mics for our ceremony/speeches?

Yes, you can use my wireless mics for your ceremony and speeches.

Q. Can we requests songs that are not on your Songlist?

Yes, I am happy to learn and perform songs that are not on my songlist for your key moment item songs. These include your ceremony songs, first dance, cake cutting and father/daughter dance.

Q. What is your style?

I play from a wide mix of contemporary and older songs from pop, folk, classic rock, RNB and country genres. Depending on the mood or the moment, I typically play slower songs before and during your ceremony, upbeat songs to lift the energy during canapes, and songs most generations know during the reception. I also use a stomp and looping pedal to add a percussive and instrumental layer to the live performance. You can view my songlist here.

Q. Do you play background music during your breaks?

Yes, I keep the music going from my iPad during breaks.

Q. What kind of DJ Style are you? Can we request songs?

For most weddings I cue a broad mix of contemporary bangers and old school hits that keep the dancefloor partying till close. Leading up to the wedding, I'll make sure I've cued your favourite genres, must have songs, so we're ready to go on the night.

I'm happy for your guests to take requests on the night, but if your venue is located where there is poor reception, I won’t be able to access songs if I don’t yet have them. So any details you can provide before the night regarding your must have songs, favourite genres, and guest's requests are super helpful!

Q. Do you supply lighting?

Yes! I have a Chauvet DJ GigBAR 2 and a Rotating Disco-ball “Rotosphere” which you can see in action in the video above. I can also use a small smoke machine if you like a bit of fog on the dancefloor.

Q. Will you travel outside of Brisbane?

Yes, I will play anywhere within South East Queensland and Northern NSW. Other locations are possible but additional travel and accomodation expenses will apply.

Q. Can you record our chosen songs for our videographer?

I certainly can. A small additional cost applies for this though.
